OFFERING YOU A COVID-19 SAFER ACCOMMODATION

As of April 2024, Covid-19 is still very much active in our society with new strength being discovered constantly. Since the beginning of the outbreak, we have made several changes and upgraded to higher hygiene standards for the safety of our guests as well as our own. These improvements, which are at no extra cost to you, cannot be reflected in our standard rates and your appreciation on social media is our best reward.

What make us safer:

• The Cottage is self-contained and totally independent with its own private access and veranda.

• The Cottage is equipped with its own separate air conditioning unit

• We provide contact-less room service and check-in / check-out procedures.

• We carry out regular bio-Cleaning of all touchable surfaces including handles, knobs, switches, remotes, handrails using        specially tested C-19 hospital grade disinfectants.

• Fabrics are steamed and Linen are machine washed to higher temperatures.

• We follow NZ Health Ministry guidelines.

• We provide guests with PPE including hand sanitiser, gloves, medical wipes and masks on request

• We offer no-touch rubbish bins.

• Our B&B has only one rented unit, so you will not interact with any other guests.

COVID-19 COTTAGE REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL GUESTS & VISITORS

Proof of full vaccination is no longer required. However, we still follow some simple precautions in order to keep you safe. We ask our guests to:

• Let us know their time of arrival to facilitate contact-less check-in.

• Keep a safe 1-metre distance from hosts and avoid hugging or shaking hands.

• Wear a mask when on property common grounds when in presence of hosts and other visitors if you believe you are symptomatic.

• Wash or sanitise your hands on each arrival

IF YOU ARE SYMPTOMATIC:

(Feeling unwell, coughing, sneezing, high temperature, sore throat, etc.)

• Please wear a mask and keep a 1-metre social distancing

• Let us know immediately,

• Test yourself (and members of your group) immediately with a Covid RAT test. (We can provide you with a test if necessary)

• Let us know the result​

COVID+ and SELF-ISOLATION:

If you are Covid+, your reservation will still be honoured and maintained under the following conditions only.

You and your party must:

• Let us know immediately

• Scan our Covid QR code below

• Place yourself under self-isolation, remain inside the cottage and avoid contact with hosts

• Seek medical attention as soon as possible

• When going out, wear a mask and respect a 2m social distancing.

• Not have any visitors.

 

NOTES:

o   If you are Covid+, a NZ$200.00 extra charge automatically applies to cover disinfection and 24hrs closure after your departure.

o   We reserve the right cancel your reservation immediately without refund in case of non-compliance with our Covid-19 requirements.
